Hello Everyone,

I am Oghogho and WELCOME to my blog. I have decided to start a blog on African Fashion Designers out of a sheer interest in and appreciation for African prints and fashion, and a desire to share all that Africa has to offer with the rest of the world. Having worked six years as a fashion model in Nigeria, where I walked in various fashion shows, I am quite familiar with a few designers. I thoroughly enjoy my time as a model and I have worn some of the most creative and beautiful pieces I have ever seen. “Joy Africa” aims to celebrate our local African talent, providing short stories on designers and their journey.

I am currently undergoing my masters’ degree in International Marketing at Hult International Business School in San Francisco. This blog is also created to show all of my school mates who apparently are from all over the world, the beautiful designs, textiles and models in Africa. YOU, my blog readers would also be given the opportunity to share pictures and write ups on African designers you like and collections you own.
